Files

The tools on this site process files directly in your web browser. When you select a file, it is read by JavaScript running on this page and never transmitted to us or to anyone else. When a tool finishes, the result is handed back to your browser as a local download. Closing the tab discards everything.

You can verify this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, watch the network tab, and use any tool — you will see no file uploads. Most tools also keep working with your internet connection switched off, once the page has loaded.

Conversion engine

The audio and video tools use FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly. The engine itself (about 30 MB) is downloaded from a public software repository, unpkg.com, the first time you use one of those tools, and is cached by your browser afterwards. Your media files are not part of that download — they are processed locally by the engine.

Similarly, the OCR tool downloads its recognition language data from a public CDN on first use. The images and documents you process are not uploaded.

What we collect

This site does not run analytics, does not set tracking cookies, and does not collect personal information. Standard server logs kept by the hosting provider may record your IP address and the pages you request — this is a technical necessity of serving any website and is handled by the host under its own policy.

Third-party content

Pages load a web font and the two open-source libraries mentioned above from public CDNs. Those providers can see your IP address and which resources you request, as with any web resource. No file content is involved.
